Chrome background themed?

Are there any themes or other way to make Chrome browser background a dark color? Even just a little bit. I've perused this, and other, forums looking for a way to make the main "results" page of Chrome toned down. I use dark themes because they are easy on the eyes, and would like the same thing in Chrome.

I have a rooted device with a custom ROM and would even be willing to change ROMs to make this happen.
