[Q] Unable to get my Theme to work properly

I am currently combining to Themes for personal use (cm12 for oneplus one), and so far almost everything worked.
The only thing i can't seem to get to work is the busy/waiting/loading animation .

I replaced the following files:

spinner_16_inner_holo
spinner_16_outer_holo
spinner_20_inner_holo
spinner_20_outer_holo
spinner_48_inner_holo
spinner_48_outer_holo
spinner_76_inner_holo
spinner_76_outer_holo

in \assets\overlays\android\res\drawable-xxhdpi

This Thread confirms these to be the right Files. But unlike the other Files I changed, this is not enough to get the desired animation to work. After installing and selecting the Theme it shows the original animation.
