Well as some of you have noticed, I have a few themes on the Play Store... One of the tasks that take up some time (especially with my OCD) is making icons for my themes... So I decided to make this thread to get help from the community in making an icon pack... I'll provide the template and essential design for these icons... But its up to YOU to play your part in helping me theme them so they can be included in my pack!! I'm not always on the hunt for new icons... But I know some people are... So this will be the FIRST of many icon designs that I will attempt to put out... With your help/support... I'm certain we can make some really nice icons/packs! I have +90 icons included so far... Most of which most of them were made COMPLETELY from scratch even though they look like stock icons...
Credits go to dcstudio for this thread which inspired me to make a thread where the community can have some input and get the icons of their choice!! Also for breaking down the instructions on how to help out (see post 2)...
Post 1 will stay updated with the latest template zip and/or icon pack link on the Play Store...
Post 2 will have ways that YOU can help and be involved in this process!
Post 3 will have a list of credits to those that submitted and have helped make this possible!!
Post 4 will have SPAM, just because every dev/themer thread needs more space :D
Currently I'm in the process of putting together the icon pack and since I don't have a computer, I will try to release updates in a timely manner for the store APK... For now, I'll include a zip with all the icons I have already made and once I have the resources to package this, I will put it in an APK to download from the store and that's where updates will come from!
This thread is also a WIP... So things might get moved around from post to post... Be sure to always read this post for any details! Don't forget the :good::highfive: and Thanks!!
GB_base_icon.zip contains both .png and .xcf (gimp) formats of the template background... Sorry I don't have Photoshop right now so I didn't include the .psd file... but it's easy to import to PS... just open with gimp first then copy over each layer to PS and save as .psd if you want that!
